As reported by the New York Times, the House Oversight Committee issued a report that report blames the Navy for failing to study the brain health of Pilots. The report recommends that Congress pass legislation to study the problem.

House Press Release states:

“Based on the findings, the Subcommittee on Military and Foreign Affairs is recommending that Congress should mandate a longitudinal brain health study of naval aviators, direct the Department of War to establish a dedicated aviator brain health program, and direct the DOW to reform medical policies to reduce stigma and barriers to care.”
