2026 Panther Workshop

This in-person workshop brings together a diverse set of researchers working to understand, detect and prevent traumatic brain injuries through a physics-based approach. Our goals are to refine existing research projects, generate new collaborative projects, and encourage personal connections within the team.

Workshop Details

Posters

The workshop features two afternoon poster sessions. Every research group & project is expected to bring a poster.

It is common for faculty to prepare their own posters for this workshop.

Posters will remain up for the duration of the meeting.

Students and postdocs can compete in the poster competition and win a prize.

If you are presenting a poster we recommend a 3′ x 4′ poster as the poster boards are 4′ x 4′.

Meals

Registration includes two buffet dinners. Build personal connections within PANTHER while enjoying a relaxed meal.

Coffee and tea will be available throughout the meeting.

Lunch is available for purchase within Memorial Union or at nearby food trucks. Workshop tradition is to eat outside at the terrace and enjoy the lake view.

Breakfast is not provided.

The opening talk will start at 9:00am on Tuesday and the workshop ends on Wednesday at 7:30pm after the poster awards.

Local Transportation

The meeting will be held in the Memorial Union at 800 Langdon St.

Workshop attendees can walk from nearby hotels, ride the free 80 bus or park on campus.

You are welcome to arrange your own lodging or book a room in one of our two lodging blocks. Both are within walking distance of the Memorial Union, 800 Langdon St.
